Morningside, Veterans Park is a great destination in all seasons, but fall is certainly my favorite. That’s when the brilliant maples and crape myrtles shine in brilliant hues of yellow, red and orange against a Charlotte’s Carolina blue sky, and the nip in the air leaves summer’s humidity a distant memory.
